The North Marion Business Resource Fairs are designed to bring state, regional, and local service providers together. We invite businesses and entrepreneurs to attend one of two Business Fairs where they will have the opportunity to meet with providers, gather information, and spend one-on-one time with representatives. If you are a business owner or representative, or are interested in learning more about starting a business, join us at our next Resource Fair to learn about the organizations and resources available to help them start or grow a business.

Learn what it takes to start a new business Oregon. The Oregon Secretary of State provided information on what steps you should consider and what important decisions to make when starting a new business. Topics discussion will include Developing a Business Plan, Selecting Your Business Name and Structure, Registering Your Business, and Other Business Requirements.
If you have or are considering operating a construction or landscape business, find out what you need to know. The Oregon Construction Contractors Board provided an overview of when a CCB license is required and how to obtain the proper training and steps to getting licensed in Oregon. The Landscape Contractors Board (LCB) will provide information on when an LCB license is required, how it differs from a CCB license, and what training and process is required to get licensed in Oregon.
During this session, ORLA will provided an update on the state of the North Marion hospitality industry. ORLA also shared information about their organization and how restaurants and lodging businesses can benefit from the association. ORLA is the leading business association for the foodservice and lodging industry in Oregon and is a powerful voice on key industry issues. ORLA’s government affairs team is on the front lines promoting and protecting the foodservice and lodging industries by advocating for public policies that sustain the industry.
