Youth Wage Grant

Hire Local Teens & Get $5/Hour Back

Willamette Workforce Partnership (WWP) and Marion County have teamed up to help small businesses give first-time job experience to local youth — and offset a portion of the wages while they learn. If your company is located in Marion County and has 35 employees or fewer, you can be reimbursed $5.00 for every hour worked by a newly hired employee who is 14-17 years old and living in the county.

This grant makes it easier to bring on young talent, cover payroll, and invest in the next generation of workers. You handle the onboarding and mentoring; WWP handles the paperwork and sends the wage reimbursement once hours are verified

How to Apply

Apply through Willamette Workforce Partnership.
